I-Resort is a true gem of a find as the ultimate Spa / Hot Spring retreat. If there was ever a place I would recommend to everyone it would be here. There is absolutely something for everyone with the minimum entry being $100,000 VND or $5.00 USD or to the top end being $6,500,000 or $300.00 USD.
Coming here a week before Valentines day we decided to celebrate early. We got the full package which is more than I could have ever asked for. Think about prices back in the Europe or North American for that special day at the W Hotel or The Hyatt, you can probably expect to be paying around $300 – $400 a night and then another $300 for a basic spa package. The services and attention we got for $300 here was just outright amazing.
We had a private villa at the top of the resort from 8:00am – 8:00pm which had a bedroom, bathroom, large net over looking the pool, a mud bath, and a pool filled with the natural hot spring water.
The services were some of the best I have had anywhere. We had a 1 hour massage, 1 hour coffee scrub, 1 hour mud wrap, pedicure and manicure, and a private mud bath followed by a hot mineral bath.
Not only were the seemingly endless massages and pampering something to return for but the meal (which was also provided in the cost as well as a free bottle of wine) was one of the best we had had in all of Vietnam.
The squid was so fresh it tasted as if right before it was served the chef picked it right up from in the ocean, flash cooked it to perfection then it was on our table all within a matter of minutes. The shrimp and coconut salad tasted like a Vietnamese version of a shrimp cocktail but modernized and more appealing. It was sweet and spicy and had so many flavour profiles in your mouth just writing about it makes me want to have one right now.
The tempura fried shrimp were crispy and hot and and a plate of four different kinds of mushrooms in an oyster mushroom sauce was heaven. It was a perfect meal although the portion sizes were out on control a little, I don’t think that they realized there was only two of us.
We stayed until 8:00 where as at this point they had to ask us about 3 times it was time to go as we just wanted to stay here forever. There is no overnighting here but as we got our stuff together and headed for the door, our bodies feeling like complete jello.
There are three pools on the property, mud baths and mineral water falls and even walking around in the middle of the day it didn’t feel very crowded. The property is very large and spaced out and even on a somewhat miserable day this would be a great place to come. They also give you free swim wear so you don’t ruin your bathing suit in the mud bath. Whether you are on a budget or feel like going on a little bit of a splurge, this is the place in Vietnam to do so. It is located 15 minutes outside of Nha Trang with free daily shuttles from town throughout the day. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the scenery and luxury of it all combined with the over the top meal made this one of our favourite days travelling through South East Asia.
Next time you are travelling through Vietnam I would give yourself an extra day in Nha Trang just to spend the day at I-Resort. Ranked #1 on Trip Advisor and #1 in our books.

Ok this place is AWESOME! To bad you don’t have a picture of the “mud bath” it was like the one at SHREK’s house.
I have been to great Spa’s all over the world but this one is the most unique yet. What a fabulous experience.
